Hello Everybody!

Thank you for visiting my web page. For some of you this might be your first step of your job-hunting efforts. I’m glad you made it here and I truly hope we will enjoy mutual interaction.

To introduce myself, my name is Petra and in a nutshell, I’m one of HR folksJ. HR is such a wide field. There are communities elsewhere related to diverse topics like career development, job search, resume writing, interview skills, coaching, personal branding…These communities are very vivid and simply keep discussing techniques on how to get your dream job and be happy with your life.

I know, it sounds like a cliché. But! Your job is an activity with which you spend most of your time during the day. So we obviously care a lot about the right job fit which brings us all the comfort we need. And this pretty much explains why there are so many coaches who want to help us with this life exercise.

Unfortunately, there is not so much written for young people. Well, technically you can find many articles in media warning you how hard it is for youngsters to get the job. Every single article points at the fact that the percentage of unemployment among 18-25 years old keeps rising during the crisis. Usual explanation is that employers do not want to employ these kids because they have no practical work experience. Tough luck, right? To put it short – there is a lot written, but it ain’t helpful.

So here I’m trying to help you as much as I can with this stressful period of job-hunting efforts. What makes me credible? First of all, not so long time ago I was in the same situation. I know what kind of fears and concerns you have and I know how to overcome them. I know because I was successful in my own job-hunting. Second, being an active HR professional has entitled me to gain a real expertise in this field. I know main principles and rules you should follow and mistakes you should avoid during your job-hunting.

Job-hunting can be tough process. But you can either have many excuses or have your dream job. You cannot have both. My advice is here now and it is only up to you, how you will use it.

Yours,

Petra (on wire for you!)
